In the 80s, synthetics began to replace wool because they were new and shiny and stretchy and you could sublimate flashy, detailed graphics onto them which was a nifty thing for teams and shops. Even while synthetics enjoyed their era of dude-holding-the-bong popularity, however, wool did not die off. The sleeves have reinforced thumb holes to help make sure they stay all the way down as you ride. Like our short sleeve jerseys they feature a full length zipper and a reinforced rear pocket with zippered access on both sides.
